Vlada Chigireva

Vlada Chigireva, born on December eighteenth, nineteen ninety-four, is a distinguished Russian competitor in synchronized swimming. From a young age, she was immersed in the aquatic world, largely influenced by her mother, a swimming coach. Chigireva began her swimming journey at the tender age of five, showcasing her talent and dedication early on.

Her competitive spirit has led her to remarkable achievements, including six gold medals at the World Aquatics Championships, with three victories in both two thousand thirteen and two thousand fifteen. Additionally, she claimed the title of solo and team champion at the FINA World Junior Synchronised Swimming Championships in both two thousand ten and two thousand twelve.

Chigireva's accolades extend to the European stage, where she secured a gold medal at the two thousand fourteen European Aquatics Championships and two gold medals at the two thousand thirteen Summer Universiade. However, her journey faced a setback when she missed the two thousand eighteen European Championships due to a knee injury sustained in two thousand seventeen, which required surgery.

In addition to her athletic prowess, Chigireva holds a degree in sports psychology from the Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth and Tourism, blending her academic knowledge with her passion for the sport.
