Vladimer Khinchegashvili

Vladimer Khinchegashvili, born on April eighteenth, nineteen ninety-one, is a distinguished Georgian freestyle wrestler who has made a significant mark in the sport. Competing in the 55 to 61 kg categories, he has achieved remarkable success on the international stage, securing a silver medal at the two thousand twelve Olympics and a gold medal at the two thousand sixteen Olympics. His prowess was further demonstrated when he clinched the world title in two thousand fifteen, along with European titles in two thousand fourteen, two thousand sixteen, and two thousand seventeen.

In recognition of his outstanding achievements, Khinchegashvili was honored as the Male Georgian Athlete of the Year in two thousand fifteen by the Georgian Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs. Transitioning from sports to politics, Khinchegashvili has embraced a new role as a member of the Parliament of Georgia, representing the Georgian Dream party.
