Vladimír Franz

Vladimír Franz, born on May twenty-fifth, nineteen fifty-nine in Prague, Czechoslovakia, is a multifaceted Czech artist known for his contributions as a composer, painter, and university scholar. His artistic journey began in the mid-1980s, during which he composed stage music for over one hundred and fifty theatre performances, earning numerous national-level accolades for his work.

In addition to his theatrical compositions, Franz has created a diverse body of musical works, including a symphony, several operas, oratorios, a musical, a ballet, and music for films, documentaries, and radio plays. His versatility in the arts is further exemplified by his passion for painting, which he has pursued alongside his musical endeavors.

Since nineteen ninety-one, Franz has shared his expertise as a lecturer at the Faculty of Theatre in Prague, influencing a new generation of artists.
