Vladimir Kozlov, born on April 27, 1979, is a multifaceted Ukrainian-American professional wrestler and actor. Known for his impressive physique and diverse skill set, he has trained in various combat sports, including freestyle wrestling, judo, and mixed martial arts. His journey in the world of wrestling began when he signed a development contract with World Wrestling Entertainment in two thousand six, leading him to WWE's developmental territories.

Making his debut on SmackDown as Vladimir Kozlov on April 4, 2008, he quickly gained recognition for his formidable presence in the ring. His early career was marked by a significant victory over The Undertaker and a high-profile match at Survivor Series 2008, where he challenged Triple H and Edge for the WWE Championship.
