Vladimir Voevodsky

Vladimir Voevodsky, born on June fourth, nineteen sixty-six, was a distinguished Russian-American mathematician whose contributions significantly advanced the field of mathematics. His innovative work in homotopy theory for algebraic varieties and the formulation of motivic cohomology earned him the prestigious Fields Medal in two thousand two.
