Volodymyr Lytvyn

Volodymyr Lytvyn, born on April twenty-eighth, nineteen fifty-six, is a prominent Ukrainian politician, historian, and academic. He is best recognized for his significant role as the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, a position he first held from two thousand two until two thousand six. After a brief hiatus, Lytvyn returned to the role of Chairman in December two thousand eight, following a strategic alliance with the former coalition led by Yulia Tymoshenko.
