Voula Patoulidou

Voula Patoulidou, born on March twenty-nine, nineteen sixty-five, in Tripotamo, part of the Florina prefecture in Greece, is a distinguished former athlete and politician. Her athletic career was marked by her participation in various events, including the 100 metres, 100 metres hurdles, and long jump. Patoulidou's most notable achievement came in nineteen ninety-two when she unexpectedly clinched the gold medal in the Women's 100 m hurdles at the Olympic Games held in Barcelona.

In addition to her Olympic success, Patoulidou was recognized as the Best Balkan Athlete in nineteen ninety-two and earned the title of Greek Female Athlete of the Year in both nineteen ninety and nineteen ninety-two.
