Adidja Azim Palmer, known to the world as Vybz Kartel, is a prominent Jamaican dancehall artist born on January 7, 1976. With a career that spans decades, he has earned various nicknames, including Worl' Boss, Teacha, and the King of Dancehall. His provocative lyrics and charismatic public persona have garnered him a folk-hero status in Jamaica, captivating audiences while simultaneously challenging societal norms.

Vybz Kartel's influence extends beyond the shores of Jamaica, inspiring a new generation of artists, including notable figures like Drake, who has acknowledged Kartel as one of his biggest inspirations.
