He also laid claim to the titles of King of the Hussites and King of Lithuania, showcasing his significant influence in the region.

Vytautas is celebrated as a national hero in modern Lithuania, playing a crucial role in the national revival during the nineteenth century. His legacy is honored through various monuments erected in his name across independent Lithuania during the interwar period from nineteen eighteen to nineteen thirty-nine.
