Waldemar Legień

Waldemar Legień, born on August 28, 1963, is a distinguished Polish judoka renowned for his remarkable achievements in the sport. He made history by winning two Olympic gold medals in different weight classes, triumphing in the years 1988 and 1992. This extraordinary feat made him the first athlete to secure back-to-back Olympic golds in judo, a testament to his skill and dedication.
