Walker Zimmerman, born on May nineteenth, nineteen ninety-three, is an accomplished American professional soccer player who currently plays as a center-back for Major League Soccer club Toronto FC and represents the United States national team.
A native of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Zimmerman began his soccer journey at Furman University, where he played two seasons with the Furman Paladins. His talent was recognized when he signed a Generation Adidas deal with Major League Soccer, leading to his selection as the seventh overall pick in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft by FC Dallas.
Despite facing challenges early in his career due to injuries, Zimmerman emerged as a key player for FC Dallas in two thousand sixteen, starting in thirty-eight matches and contributing to the team's success in winning both the Supporters' Shield and the U.S. Open Cup.
