Walter Schottky

Walter Schottky, born on July twenty-third, eighteen eighty-six, was a prominent German physicist and electrical engineer whose contributions significantly shaped the fields of thermionic emission and semiconductor technology. In nineteen twenty-four, Schottky collaborated with Dr. Erwin Gerlach to co-invent the ribbon microphone and ribbon loudspeaker, further showcasing his versatility and ingenuity in electrical engineering.
