Wang Yaping

Wang Yaping, born in January nineteen eighty, is a distinguished Chinese military transport pilot and taikonaut. She holds the remarkable distinction of being the second female taikonaut selected for the People's Liberation Army Astronaut Corps, paving the way for women in the field of space exploration.

Her journey into the cosmos is marked by significant achievements, including being the second Chinese woman to venture into space. Wang made history as the first Chinese woman to perform a spacewalk, showcasing her exceptional skills and dedication to her profession.
