Wang Yuegu, born on June tenth, nineteen eighty, is a retired table tennis player who represented Singapore after her transition from China. She made her debut on the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Pro Tour in June two thousand five at the Volkswagen Korean Open in Suncheon, South Korea, where she and her partner Sun Beibei secured a silver medal in women's doubles.

On September twenty-four, two thousand six, Wang achieved her first gold medal at the Japan Open in Yokohama, followed by another victory against compatriot Li Jiawei at the ITTF Pro Tour German Open in Bayreuth on November twelfth. Her remarkable performance continued in June two thousand seven when she played a pivotal role in helping Singapore clinch gold in the women's team, women's doubles, and mixed doubles events at the 17th Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships in Jaipur.

Wang's international acclaim peaked when she represented Singapore at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, contributing to the women's table tennis team's silver medal win alongside Li Jiawei and Feng Tianwei. This historic achievement marked Singapore's first Olympic medal since gaining independence in nineteen sixty-five, a significant milestone for the nation.

In May two thousand ten, Wang, along with Feng Tianwei and Sun, made headlines by defeating the reigning champions, China, three to one at the Liebherr World Team Table Tennis Championships in Moscow, earning Singapore its first world championship title. Wang continued to excel, winning a bronze medal in the women's team event at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London before announcing her retirement from competitive sports in August of the same year.
