Warren Skorodenski

Warren Skorodenski, born on March 22, 1960, is a distinguished Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. His career in the National Hockey League (NHL) saw him don the jerseys of the Chicago Black Hawks and the Edmonton Oilers, where he made a significant impact on the ice.

During the 1981–82 AHL season, while playing for the New Brunswick Hawks, Skorodenski showcased his exceptional skills by sharing the Harry 'Hap' Holmes Memorial Award with teammate Bob Janecyk. This accolade recognized their achievement in maintaining the lowest goals against average in the American Hockey League.

In the 1984–85 season, Skorodenski served as the backup to Murray Bannerman in Chicago, where he excelled by recording the league's highest save percentage at zero point nine zero three. His performance during this time solidified his reputation as a reliable goaltender.

After a commendable career, Warren Skorodenski retired from professional hockey in 1991, leaving behind a legacy of skill and dedication to the sport.
