Warren Weir

Warren Weir, born on October thirty-first, nineteen eighty-nine, is a retired Jamaican sprinter renowned for his exceptional talent in the 200 metres. He made a significant mark in athletics by clinching the bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics, contributing to Jamaica's remarkable sweep of the event.

In 2013, Weir showcased his prowess at the Moscow World Championships, where he secured the silver medal, equalling his personal best time of nineteen point seventy-nine seconds. This impressive feat placed him just behind the legendary Usain Bolt, who achieved a world-leading time during the competition.

Weir's personal best was initially set at the National Stadium in Jamaica, a testament to his dedication and skill. He later matched this time again in Moscow during the World Championship final, solidifying his status as one of the top sprinters in the world.
