Wei Chun-heng

Wei Chun-heng, born on July sixth, nineteen ninety-four, is a prominent Taiwanese competitive archer known for his remarkable achievements in the sport. He gained international recognition when he secured a bronze medal in the men's team recurve event at the 2015 Asian Championships, showcasing his skill and dedication to archery.

In addition to his success at the Asian Championships, Wei represented Chinese Taipei at the 2016 Summer Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro. Competing in both individual and team recurve tournaments, he demonstrated exceptional talent, leading his team to the ninth seed in the knockout stage with a total of six hundred seventy-nine points out of a possible seven hundred twenty.

During the Olympic team event, Wei and his teammates, Kao Hao-wen and Yu Guan-lin, faced a surprising challenge in the elimination round, where they were defeated by the Indonesian team with a score of two to six. Despite this setback, Wei rebounded in the individual competition, defeating Fiji's seasoned Olympian Rob Elder in straight sets to advance to the round of thirty-two.

Wei's journey in the individual recurve event was intense, culminating in a nail-biting match against Thailand's Witthaya Thamwong, where he narrowly lost in a five to six shoot-off.
