Werner Naumann

Werner Naumann, born on June sixteenth, nineteen oh nine, was a notable figure in the political landscape of Nazi Germany. As a civil servant, he served as State Secretary in Joseph Goebbels' Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda, a pivotal role during a tumultuous period in history.

Following Goebbels' promotion to Reichskanzler, Naumann was appointed as the head of the Propaganda Ministry by Adolf Hitler in his last will and testament. This position placed him at the heart of the regime's efforts to control public perception and disseminate propaganda.

In the final days of World War II, Naumann was present in the Führerbunker, witnessing the collapse of the Nazi regime. After the fall of Berlin, he managed to evade capture and lived an underground existence under an assumed name until an amnesty was granted in nineteen fifty.

In the years that followed, Naumann led a clandestine Neo-Nazi organization known as the Naumann Circle. However, this organization was eventually exposed, leading to his arrest. During the denazification proceedings, he was classified as a 'Category II offender', marking a significant chapter in his post-war life.
