Werner Winsemann

Werner Winsemann, born on January fifteenth, nineteen thirty-three, is a distinguished former soccer referee hailing from Germany. His remarkable career in officiating reached its pinnacle when he was selected to officiate at the prestigious 1974 FIFA World Cup, where he served both as a referee and a linesman.

In addition to his role in the 1974 tournament, Winsemann also made his mark at the 1978 FIFA World Cup, where he officiated solely as a linesman, a position now referred to as assistant referee.
