Wesley Sneijder

Wesley Sneijder, born on June 9, 1984, is a distinguished former Dutch professional footballer renowned for his exceptional playmaking skills. Throughout his career, he was celebrated as one of the finest midfielders globally, showcasing his talent on some of the biggest stages in football.

A product of the esteemed Ajax Youth Academy, Sneijder began his professional journey with Ajax, where he secured four trophies and earned the prestigious Johan Cruyff Trophy in 2004. His remarkable performances caught the attention of Real Madrid, who acquired him for twenty-seven million euros in 2007. In his inaugural season with the club, he clinched the La Liga title before making a significant move to Inter Milan in 2009 for fifteen million euros.

At Inter, Sneijder's career reached new heights as he contributed to the team's triumphs in Serie A, the UEFA Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup, and two Coppa Italia titles. His outstanding contributions earned him the UEFA Midfielder of the Season award in 2010, and he was recognized as one of the top three midfielders in the world by FIFA.

In 2013, Sneijder joined Galatasaray for seven and a half million euros, where he played a pivotal role in securing the Süper Lig title in his first season, followed by a victory in the Turkish Super Cup against fierce rivals Fenerbahçe.
