Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Wilhelm Kube

Wilhelm Kube, born on November thirteenth, eighteen eighty-seven, was a prominent German Nazi politician and soldier. His political career began to take shape in the late 1920s when he became a leader of the Nazi Party in the Free State of Prussia, a position he held from nineteen twenty-eight until nineteen thirty-three. Kube was also a significant figure in the German Christian movement and served as the Gauleiter of Gau Kurmark during the early years of Nazi rule.

Despite his early influence, Kube's career faced a setback in nineteen thirty-six when he was removed from all his offices and expelled from the SS due to a scandal involving a personal feud with Walter Buch. However, his fortunes changed in nineteen forty when Heinrich Himmler rehabilitated him into the SS, leading to his appointment as Generalkommissar of Generalbezirk Weißruthenien shortly after the German invasion of the Soviet Union.

During his tenure, Kube was complicit in the Holocaust, approving numerous war crimes against Jewish people in western Belarus. He infamously stated, 'What plague and syphilis are to humanity, are Jews to the white race.' Although his treatment of German Jews was relatively mild in the early years, by nineteen forty-two, he had succumbed to pressure from his SS superiors and fully participated in the extermination of German Jews.

Kube's life came to a violent end in nineteen forty-three when he was assassinated by Soviet partisan Yelena Mazanik, who used a bomb to carry out the attack. His legacy remains a stark reminder of the atrocities committed during this dark chapter of history.
