Will Claye

Will Claye, born on June thirteenth, nineteen ninety-one, is a distinguished American track and field athlete renowned for his prowess in both the long jump and triple jump events. His athletic journey is marked by significant achievements, including a bronze medal at the 2011 World Championships in Athletics and gold medals at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in two separate years, 2012 and 2018.

Claye made a remarkable Olympic debut at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where he showcased his exceptional talent by winning a bronze medal in the long jump and a silver medal in the triple jump. He continued to excel, repeating his silver medal performance in the triple jump at the 2016 Olympics, solidifying his status as one of the top competitors in his field.

His personal best in the triple jump, an impressive eighteen point fourteen meters, was achieved at the Jim Bush Southern California USATF Championships in Long Beach on June twenty-ninth, two thousand nineteen. This remarkable feat ranks him as the fourth-best triple jumper of all time, a testament to his dedication and skill.

Before his professional career, Claye was a two-time Arizona Interscholastic Association high school champion in the triple jump, where he set a new state record exceeding fifty feet. Claye began his collegiate career at the University of Oklahoma before transferring to the University of Florida.
