William Hogenson

William P. Hogenson, born on October 26, 1884, was a prominent American sprinter who made his mark in the world of athletics during the early twentieth century. His athletic prowess was showcased at the 1904 Summer Olympics, where he competed fiercely against some of the best sprinters of his time.

At the Olympics, Hogenson achieved remarkable success, securing a silver medal in the men's 60 m dash. He was narrowly defeated by fellow American Archie Hahn, who claimed the gold. In addition to his silver medal, Hogenson also earned two bronze medals in the 100 m and 200 m events, both of which were again won by Hahn.
