William M. Daley

William M. Daley, born on August ninth, nineteen forty-eight, is a distinguished American lawyer, banker, and government official. He made history as the twenty-fourth White House Chief of Staff, serving under President Barack Obama from January twenty-eleven to January twenty-twelve. His extensive career in public service also includes a notable tenure as the thirty-second U.S. Secretary of Commerce from nineteen ninety-seven to two thousand, appointed by President Bill Clinton.

In addition to his roles in government, Daley has a rich background in the banking sector. He was a key member of the executive committee at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he honed his financial expertise. His career continued to flourish as he took on the role of Vice Chairman at BNY Mellon for a brief period in two thousand nineteen, before transitioning to Wells Fargo, where he served as Vice Chairman of Public Affairs from two thousand nineteen to two thousand twenty-three.
