Wiyaala, born on December twenty-second, nineteen eighty-six, is a celebrated Ghanaian Afro-pop singer-songwriter known for her vibrant musical style that seamlessly blends her native Sissala and Waala dialects with English. Her name translates to 'the doer' in Sissala, reflecting her dynamic presence in the music industry.

She first gained recognition with her infectious single 'Make Me Dance,' which showcased her unique androgynous image. After making a name for herself through various reality shows in Accra, Wiyaala launched her solo career in two thousand thirteen with the hit 'Rock My Body.' This track not only captivated audiences but also earned her two prestigious awards at the inaugural All Africa Music Awards in two thousand fourteen, including Most Promising Artiste in Africa and Revelation of The African Continent.

Beyond her musical achievements, Wiyaala is a passionate advocate for social issues, collaborating with UNICEF Ghana and the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection to combat child marriage, child poverty, and promote health and sanitation.
