Dremmler's career reached a pinnacle when he represented West Germany in the 1982 FIFA World Cup final against Italy, held at the iconic Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. His club career was equally impressive, featuring a total of three hundred and ten Bundesliga matches, where he scored fifteen goals. He played for Eintracht Braunschweig and later joined FC Bayern Munich in nineteen seventy-nine, following a recommendation from the legendary Paul Breitner. During his time with Bayern, he celebrated four Bundesliga titles and three German Cup victories before retiring in nineteen eighty-six due to a knee injury.
His international debut came on January seventh, nineteen eighty-one, in a match against Brazil. Over the course of his international career, Dremmler earned twenty-seven caps and netted three goals for his country, showcasing his talent on the global stage.
