Xavi, born on January 25, 1980, is a distinguished Spanish football manager and former player, celebrated for his remarkable contributions to the sport. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders in football history, known for his exceptional passing ability and vision on the field. Xavi's illustrious career includes being the all-time top assist provider for Spain in the UEFA Champions League, with thirty assists to his name.

Joining La Masia, Barcelona's prestigious youth academy, at the tender age of eleven, Xavi made his first-team debut against Mallorca in August 1998. Over his career at Barcelona, he played seven hundred sixty-seven official matches, scoring eighty-five goals. Under the management of Pep Guardiola, Xavi formed a legendary midfield trio with Andrés Iniesta and Sergio Busquets, leading the team to numerous victories, including five La Liga titles, three Copa del Rey titles, and three Champions League titles, with two historic trebles achieved in 2008-09 and 2014-15.

On the international stage, Xavi was instrumental in Spain's triumphs, winning the FIFA World Youth Championship in 1999 and an Olympic silver medal in 2000. He earned one hundred thirty-three caps for the national team, playing a pivotal role in their 2010 FIFA World Cup victory and their UEFA Euro wins in 2008 and 2012.
