Xie Xingfang

Xie Xingfang, born on September eighth, nineteen eighty-one, is a retired badminton player hailing from Guangzhou, Guangdong. Renowned for her exceptional skills, she was a two-time world champion in women's singles and held the prestigious title of World No. 1. Xie's journey in badminton began with a significant achievement in girls' doubles at the World Junior Championships in nineteen ninety-eight, where she partnered with Zhang Jiewen. She also earned a bronze medal in mixed doubles alongside Cai Yun, showcasing her versatility before transitioning to singles upon joining the Chinese national team.

The year two thousand four marked a pivotal moment in Xie's career, as she clinched several top-tier titles on the world circuit.
