Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, known professionally as XXXTentacion, was born on January 23, 1998, in Plantation, Florida. He spent much of his childhood in Lauderhill, where he began to explore his passion for music after being released from a juvenile detention center. In 2013, he launched his career on SoundCloud, quickly gaining traction with his unique blend of genres, including emo, trap, and punk rock. His unconventional style, characterized by heavy guitar-backed instrumentals and emotional themes, resonated with a young audience, establishing him as a pivotal figure in the emo rap and SoundCloud rap movements.
