Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Yacouba Isaac Zida

Yacouba Isaac Zida, born on November sixteenth, nineteen sixty-five, is a prominent Burkinabé military officer and politician. He rose to national prominence in November two thousand fourteen when he assumed the role of Interim Head of State of Burkina Faso following a significant uprising that led to the ousting of long-standing leadership.

In the wake of the Burkinabé uprising, Zida's ascent to power was marked by a swift transition, as he sidelined the more senior officer, Honoré Nabéré Traoré. His leadership was intended to stabilize the nation until a civilian government could be established. Shortly thereafter, he was appointed as the Interim Prime Minister by the newly installed civilian Head of State, Michel Kafando.

However, Zida's tenure was not without challenges. In two thousand fifteen, he faced a coup attempt orchestrated by the Presidential Security Regiment, which briefly ousted him from power. Despite this setback, Zida's leadership was restored, and the regiment was subsequently disbanded, allowing him to continue his role in shaping the future of Burkina Faso.
