Yang Kaihui

Yang Kaihui, born on November sixth, nineteen oh one, was a prominent figure in Chinese history, known for her roles as a politician and poet. She was the second wife of Mao Zedong, marrying him in nineteen twenty, and together they had three children: Mao Anying, Mao Anqing, and Mao Anlong.

Her familial background played a significant role in her life; her father, Yang Changji, was the head of the Hunan First Normal School and one of Mao's favorite teachers. This connection not only influenced her upbringing but also her involvement in the political landscape of China.

Yang Kaihui was also related to Yang Youlin, a notable member of the Chinese Communist Party, highlighting the intertwining of her family with the revolutionary movements of the time.
