Yaqub al-Mansur, also known as Moulay Yacoub, was a prominent figure in the history of the Almohad dynasty, serving as the third caliph. Born in the year one thousand one hundred sixty, he ascended to power following the legacy of his father, al-Mansur, and ruled from the year one thousand one hundred eighty-four until one thousand one hundred ninety-nine.
