Yaroslav II of Vladimir

Yaroslav II Vsevolodovich, known as Theodore in Christian circles, was born on February eighth, 1191. He rose to prominence as the Grand Prince of Vladimir, a title he held from 1238 until his death in 1246. His reign was marked by significant challenges, particularly the aftermath of the Mongol invasion that swept through his homeland.
