Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Yelawolf

Michael Wayne Atha, known to the world as Yelawolf, was born on December 30, 1979, in Gadsden, Alabama. His early years were spent in Antioch, Tennessee, where he developed a passion for music that would eventually lead him to embark on a recording career in two thousand five. Yelawolf's initial foray into the music scene included the release of four mixtapes, which garnered positive feedback locally.

His breakthrough came with the fourth mixtape, Trunk Muzik, released in two thousand ten, which not only earned him wider recognition but also paved the way for a recording contract with Interscope Records. This led to the reworking of the mixtape into his first major label release, Trunk Muzik 0-60, also in two thousand ten.

In a significant career move, Yelawolf entered a joint venture with Eminem's Shady Records, resulting in the release of his second studio album, Radioactive, in two thousand eleven. The album peaked at number twenty-seven on the Billboard 200 chart, marking a notable achievement in his career. His third album, Love Story, released in two thousand fifteen, reached number three on the chart and featured the hit single 'Till It's Gone,' which received platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America.

Yelawolf continued to evolve as an artist with the release of his fourth and fifth albums, Trial by Fire in two thousand seventeen and Trunk Muzik 3 in two thousand nineteen, both of which received moderate commercial success and critical acclaim. His sixth album, Ghetto Cowboy, also released in two thousand nineteen, marked a new chapter as his first independent release following his departure from major labels.
