Yelena Davydova

Yelena Davydova, born on August seventh, nineteen sixty-one, is a distinguished Russian-Canadian gymnastics coach and judge. She made her mark in the world of gymnastics as a competitor for the former Soviet Union, where she achieved remarkable success, including being crowned the women's artistic individual all-around champion at the nineteen eighty Summer Olympics held in Moscow.

After her competitive career, Davydova transitioned into coaching and has since become a prominent figure in the gymnastics community. She is the owner and head coach of Gemini Gymnastics, a well-respected gymnastics club located in Oshawa, Ontario. Her expertise and dedication to the sport have made her a sought-after coach, and in July two thousand twelve, she served as one of the coaches for the Canadian Women's Artistic Gymnastics Team.

In addition to her coaching accomplishments, Davydova has played a significant role in international gymnastics events. In two thousand sixteen, she was appointed as the head floor judge at the Rio Olympics, showcasing her expertise on a global stage.
