Yigal Amir

Yigal Amir, born on May 23, 1970, is an Israeli figure infamous for his role in the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. This tragic event occurred on November 4, 1995, at the conclusion of a rally in Tel Aviv, marking a pivotal moment in Israeli history.

At the time of the assassination, Amir was pursuing his studies in law at Bar-Ilan University. His actions not only led to the death of a sitting prime minister but also resulted in a life sentence for murder, along with an additional six years for injuring Rabin's bodyguard.
