Yo-Yo Ma

Yo-Yo Ma, an illustrious American cellist, was born on October seventh, nineteen fifty-five, in Paris to Chinese parents. Recognized as a child prodigy, he began his cello studies at the tender age of four under the guidance of his father. At seven, Ma's family relocated to Boston, and later to New York City, where he honed his craft at the prestigious Juilliard School before embarking on a liberal arts education at Harvard University.
