Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Yogi Adityanath

Yogi Adityanath, born on June fifth, nineteen seventy-two, is a prominent Indian politician and Hindu monk. He has been serving as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh since two thousand seventeen, making him the state's longest-serving chief minister and the first to secure two consecutive terms in this role.

Before his tenure as chief minister, Adityanath was a member of India's parliament for nearly two decades, beginning in nineteen ninety-eight. At just twenty-six years old, he became one of the youngest parliamentarians in India, representing the Gorakhpur Lok Sabha constituency and winning five consecutive terms.

In two thousand seventeen, he transitioned from central to state politics, initially becoming a member of the Uttar Pradesh legislative council. By two thousand twenty-two, he was elected to the state legislative assembly from the Gorakhpur Urban Assembly constituency.

In addition to his political career, Adityanath is the mahant, or head priest, of the Gorakhnath Math, a significant Hindu monastery in Gorakhpur, a position he has held since September two thousand fourteen. He is known for founding the Hindu Yuva Vahini, a now-defunct Hindu nationalist organization, and is recognized for his image as a Hindu nationalist and social conservative.

In recent years, Adityanath has gained recognition for his influence, ranking fifth in two thousand twenty-three and sixth in two thousand twenty-four on the list of India's most powerful personalities, as compiled by the Indian Express.
