Jeffery Lamar Williams II, known to the world as Young Thug, was born on August 16, 1991. Young Thug's musical journey began in 2011 with the release of his first mixtape, I Came from Nothing, which set the stage for his rise in the industry.

In 2013, Young Thug signed with Gucci Mane's 1017 Records, releasing the critically acclaimed mixtape 1017 Thug. His breakthrough came in 2014 with hit singles like "Stoner" and "Danny Glover," alongside notable guest appearances on tracks such as T.I.'s "About the Money" and Rich Gang's "Lifestyle." That year also saw him sign a solo contract with 300 Entertainment, further solidifying his place in the music scene.

Young Thug's career continued to flourish with a series of successful mixtapes, including Barter 6 and the Slime Season series. His collaboration on Camila Cabello's "Havana" in 2017 marked his first number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100.
