Yuri Malenchenko

Yuri Malenchenko, born on December twenty-second, nineteen sixty-one, is a distinguished retired Russian cosmonaut and military personnel. With a remarkable career as an aircraft pilot and fighter pilot, he has made significant contributions to the field of space exploration.

One of the most notable milestones in Malenchenko's life occurred on August tenth, two thousand three, when he became the first person to marry in space. While orbiting two hundred forty miles above New Zealand on the International Space Station, he exchanged vows with Ekaterina Dmitrieva, who was located in Texas at the time.

As of December two thousand twenty-three, Malenchenko holds the impressive rank of third for career time spent in space, thanks to his extensive missions aboard both the Mir space station and the International Space Station.
