Yuu Watase

Yuu Watase, born on March fifth, nineteen seventy, is a renowned Japanese manga artist who has captivated audiences with her storytelling and artistic talent. She made her debut in the manga industry at the young age of eighteen with the short story 'Pajama de Ojama' (パジャマでおじゃま), marking the beginning of a prolific career.

Over the years, Watase has published more than fifty volumes, showcasing her versatility through both one-shots and long-running series. Among her most celebrated works is 'Fushigi Yûgi', which has garnered a dedicated fanbase and solidified her status in the manga community.

In nineteen ninety-eight, her exceptional work was recognized when she won the prestigious forty-third Shogakukan Manga Award in the shōjo category for 'Ceres, Celestial Legend'. This accolade further established her as a leading figure in the genre.
