Yvonne Catterfeld

Yvonne Catterfeld, born on December second, nineteen seventy-nine, is a multifaceted German artist known for her talents as a singer, actress, and television personality. Raised in Erfurt, Thuringia, she later moved to Leipzig to pursue her passion for music. Her career took off in two thousand when she participated in the inaugural season of the singing competition series Stimme 2000, where she impressively secured second place.

Following her success on the show, Catterfeld signed a recording contract with Hansa Records, leading to the release of her debut single 'Bum' in two thousand one. That same year marked a significant turning point in her career as she landed a leading role in the popular German soap opera Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten, which catapulted her into the public eye. In two thousand three, she achieved a major musical breakthrough with her fifth single, 'Für dich', which became an international number-one hit and was accompanied by the successful album Meine Welt.

A transition to Sony Music followed, and after a challenging period, she made a triumphant return to the charts with the reissue of her sixth album Lieber so in two thousand thirteen.

Throughout her impressive fifteen-year career, Catterfeld has sold nearly one million records as a solo artist, establishing herself as one of the most recognized female music artists in Germany. Her contributions to the entertainment industry have garnered her numerous accolades, including a Bambi Award, a Goldene Stimmgabel, and an ECHO Award.
