Zabihullah Mujahid, born on February seventh, nineteen seventy-eight, is a prominent Afghan spokesperson known for his role as the chief spokesman for the Taliban regime, officially referred to as the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. Since October twenty-fifth, twenty twenty-one, he has been the voice of the Taliban, articulating the group's positions and activities to the public and media.
Before assuming his current role, Mujahid served as the Deputy Minister of Information and Culture starting September seventh, twenty twenty-one. His extensive experience as a spokesman for the Taliban dates back to January two thousand seven, when he was appointed following the arrest of his predecessor, Muhammad Hanif.
