Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Zack Kassian

Zack Kassian, born on January twenty-fourth, nineteen ninety-one, is a former professional ice hockey winger from Canada. He most recently showcased his skills with HC Sparta Praha in the Czech Extraliga. Kassian's journey in major junior hockey was highlighted by a significant achievement in two thousand ten when he won the Memorial Cup with the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League.

In the two thousand nine NHL entry draft, Kassian was selected in the first round, thirteenth overall, by the Buffalo Sabres. He began his professional career within the Sabres organization but was traded to the Vancouver Canucks in two thousand twelve. Over the course of four seasons with the Canucks, he made a name for himself before being dealt to the Montreal Canadiens in two thousand fifteen.

Unfortunately, Kassian's time with the Canadiens was marred by substance abuse issues, leading to a suspension that prevented him from playing for the team. He was subsequently traded to the Edmonton Oilers, where he spent seven seasons, before moving to the Arizona Coyotes for one final season in the NHL. He officially retired from professional hockey during the two thousand twenty-three to twenty-four season.

On the international stage, Kassian represented Canada’s under-twenty team at the two thousand eleven World Junior Championships, where he contributed to the team’s silver medal finish. Standing at six feet three inches and weighing two hundred eleven pounds, he was known for his power forward style, characterized by aggression and physicality on the ice.
