Zao Wou-Ki

Zao Wou-Ki, born on February first, nineteen twenty, was a distinguished Chinese-French painter whose artistic journey spanned multiple disciplines, including lithography, postage stamp design, and draftsmanship. A graduate of the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, Zao honed his skills under the tutelage of renowned artists Fang Ganmin and Wu Dayu, both of whom were instrumental in shaping his artistic vision.
