Žarko Paspalj

Žarko Paspalj, born on March twenty-seventh, nineteen sixty-six, is a distinguished Serbian former professional basketball player and current sports administrator. He serves as the sporting director for Partizan in the Serbian League, the ABA League, and the EuroLeague. Paspalj's illustrious career spanned over sixteen and a half seasons, primarily in Yugoslavia and Greece, with brief appearances in the NBA, France, and Italy.

In nineteen ninety-four, he was honored as the EuroLeague Final Four MVP, a testament to his exceptional skills on the court. His contributions to basketball were recognized in nineteen ninety-one when he was selected for the FIBA European Selection. Paspalj was a key player for Yugoslavia's senior national team, participating in one FIBA World Cup, two Olympic Games, and four EuroBasket tournaments, where he earned a spot on the All-EuroBasket Team in nineteen eighty-nine.

His legacy in the sport was further solidified when he was named one of the 101 Greats of European Basketball in two thousand eighteen.
