Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Zbigniew Ziobro

Zbigniew Ziobro, born on August eighteenth, nineteen seventy, is a prominent Polish politician, jurist, and lawyer. He has held the position of Minister of Justice in the Republic of Poland twice, first from October two thousand five to November two thousand seven, and most recently in the Cabinet of Mateusz Morawiecki until November twenty-seventh, two thousand twenty-three. His political career began with his election to the Sejm on September twenty-fifth, two thousand five, where he represented the thirteen Kraków district as a member of the Law and Justice party, garnering over one hundred twenty thousand votes, the highest percentage in that election.

Ziobro graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Jagiellonian University, although he did not complete his PhD. His tenure in the Lower House (Sejm) lasted from two thousand one to two thousand five. Known for his vigorous stance against corruption, he has become a polarizing figure in Polish politics, earning the title of Man of the Year two thousand six from Wprost magazine. His uncompromising methods and high-profile prosecutions have drawn both admiration and criticism, with some media outlets, including The Economist, labeling his policies as partisan and excessively aggressive.

In two thousand seven, he was involved in a significant political controversy when former Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration Janusz Kaczmarek, linked to a bribery case, was forced to resign. This incident led to a media confrontation where Ziobro revealed he had secretly recorded a conversation with vice-PM Andrzej Lepper. His political influence extended to the European Parliament, where he was elected as an MEP in the two thousand nine elections, receiving three hundred thirty-five thousand nine hundred thirty-three votes, the second highest in Poland.

However, Ziobro's career took a dramatic turn when, on January thirty-first, two thousand twenty-five, he was arrested over allegations that Poland had used Pegasus spyware under his authority to monitor journalists and political rivals. By January two thousand twenty-six, he was granted political asylum in Hungary and is currently facing investigations on twenty-six charges.
