Zhao Yunlei, born on August twenty-fifth, nineteen eighty-six, is a distinguished badminton player from China, celebrated for her exceptional achievements in both mixed and women's doubles. A graduate of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, she has made her mark in the world of badminton, becoming the first and only player to secure two gold medals in a single Olympic edition, triumphing in both categories at the London 2012 Olympics.

Her remarkable career continued to flourish as she became the first player to win two gold medals in consecutive BWF World Championships in 2014 and 2015. By the end of the 2015 championships, Zhao had amassed a total of ten medals, surpassing the previous record held by Gao Ling. Her partnership with Zhang Nan in mixed doubles led them to become the first duo to win three World Championship titles, further solidifying her legacy in the sport.
