Zhilei Zhang, born on May 2, 1983, is a distinguished Chinese professional boxer who has made significant strides in the heavyweight division. He held the World Boxing Organization (WBO) interim heavyweight title from 2023 to 2024, showcasing his prowess in the ring and solidifying his status among the elite fighters.

As an amateur, Zhang's accolades are impressive. He earned a bronze medal at the 2004 and 2011 World Championships, a silver medal at the 2007 World Championships, and a gold medal at the 2009 Asian Championships.
