He is recognized not only as a singer and songwriter but also as an actor and television personality. Zhou Mi is signed under SM Entertainment and co-managed by Baymon for his activities in China, showcasing his versatility across various entertainment platforms.

His career took off in two thousand eight when he debuted as a member of Super Junior's Chinese sub-group, Super Junior-M. This marked the beginning of his journey in the music industry, where he later contributed to SM Entertainment's project group, SM the Ballad.
